Who Is PHRi Credential For?
PHRi is for HR professionals who have required qualifications and years of experience and desire to demonstrate mastery and validate their professional-level competency, knowledge and skills in an international setting. To be eligible for the PHRi, you must already have one of the following combinations of requirements: at least one year of experience in a professional-level HR position and a master’s degree or higher, two years or more experience in a professional-level HR position and a bachelor’s degree, or at least four years of experience in a professional-level HR position and a high school diploma.
Acquiring this certification will require you to have an in-depth understanding of business Leadership, talent development and management, HR service delivery, HR-related measurement and analysis.
Description of Exam
PHRi exams are computer based which must be taken at the candidate’s chosen Prometric testing center. The exam contains multiple choice questions, and candidates have 2 hours and 15 minutes to answer a total 90 multiple-choice questions + 25 pretest questions, all in English (or in Spanish – Castilian). PHRi exam is available year-round, subject to availability at the Pearson Vue testing center of candidate’s choice.
PHRi certification is valid for only three years after testing. The validity can be retained by earning 60 recertification credits over the three years time span or retaking the exam.
